Great Blend
One of my favorite flavors
Waka Pineapple Green Instant Tea in the 0.45 oz travel packet is a soluble tea powder made from 100% premium green tea leaves, naturally flavored with pineapple. It is unsweetened with no added sugar, no artificial colors, no carriers, and no fillers. One packet makes about 20 cups at 1/4 teaspoon per mug, with approximately 35 mg of caffeine per serving. It dissolves in seconds with no steeping or tea bags.
Pineapple green tea is a common tropical base for homemade loaded teas. It dissolves in cold water and the strength is set by the spoonful, so you control both the tea flavor and the caffeine in each drink. At about 20 servings, one packet is enough to test several recipes before buying a full pouch. See how to choose a loaded tea base and the Loaded Tea Zone for recipes.
How many cups does one sample packet make?
About 20 at the recommended 1/4 teaspoon. The full-size 4.5 oz pouch makes about 200.
How does it compare to the mango green tea?
Both are tropical flavors on the same green tea base with identical caffeine per serving. The pineapple is bittersweet and earthy with a sharper tropical note; the mango is bittersweet with a rounder, juicier one.
Is pineapple green tea sweet?
No. There is no added sugar, so the pineapple comes through as tropical fruit flavor rather than sweetness. Add sugar or honey to taste.
How much caffeine is in a serving?
Approximately 35 mg per 1/4 teaspoon, roughly a third of a cup of drip coffee.

Our tea powder is concentrated, requiring just a small amount to make your tea. Use 1/4 tsp for one serving (8 fl oz) or 2 teaspoons to make a full 64 fl oz pitcher. For a gallon (128 fl oz), we recommend starting with 4 tsp of Waka tea powder. From there, feel free to adjust the flavor to suit your taste!
Waka instant coffee contains between 3 mg and 80 mg of caffeine per serving, depending on the roast. Exact amounts by product:
A standard 8 fl oz cup of drip coffee contains roughly 95 mg of caffeine. Waka Medium Roast at the recommended 2 tsp serving contains approximately 55 mg, which is a little over half the caffeine of a typical brewed cup. Use more powder for a stronger cup.
Every Waka product is printed with an exact "best by" date on its packaging. Waka does not ship any full-priced item with less than three months of shelf life remaining.
