What makes a tea Earl Grey?
Earl Grey is black tea flavored with bergamot, a citrus fruit. The bergamot is what gives it the distinctive fresh citrus aroma. Waka's version uses natural Earl Grey bergamot flavor on single-origin Indian black tea.
How much caffeine is in Earl Grey instant tea?
Approximately 35 mg per 1/4 teaspoon serving, the same as Waka's unflavored black and green instant teas. Caffeine scales with the amount of powder used.
Is it sweetened?
No. There is no added sugar and no artificial colors, carriers, or fillers. Drink it black or add milk and sugar to taste.
Can I make it iced?
Yes. For the cleanest result, dissolve in a little hot water first, then top with cold water and ice. If mixing straight into cold water, stir vigorously or use a frother. It also works in smoothies, loaded teas, and cocktails.
