WAKACOFFEE® Decaf Medium Roast Instant Coffee in the 8 oz pouch is decaffeinated freeze-dried coffee made from 100% Arabica beans from Colombia, decaffeinated using the natural EA method with natural acetic acid and natural ethyl alcohol. A 2 teaspoon serving contains approximately 3 mg of caffeine, against roughly 95 mg in a standard 8 fl oz cup of drip coffee. It is a clean-label coffee: no added sugar or sweeteners, no fillers, and no artificial flavors or colors. The 8 oz pouch makes about 80 cups, the lowest cost per cup in the decaf line.

Using the natural EA (ethyl acetate) method, with natural acetic acid and natural ethyl alcohol rather than synthetic solvents like methylene chloride.
How many cups does the 8 oz pouch make?
About 80 cups at the recommended 1.5 to 2 teaspoons per cup, compared with about 35 from the 3.5 oz pouch.
Is decaf coffee completely caffeine free?
No. This coffee contains approximately 3 mg per 2 teaspoon serving, roughly 3 percent of a standard cup of drip coffee. US regulations require decaffeinated coffee to have at least 97 percent of its caffeine removed.
How do you make iced decaf coffee?
Dissolve the coffee in a small amount of hot water first, then top with cold water, milk, or ice. A handheld frother also works for mixing directly into cold liquid.
Waka instant coffee contains between 3 mg and 80 mg of caffeine per serving, depending on the roast. Exact amounts by product:
A standard 8 fl oz cup of drip coffee contains roughly 95 mg of caffeine. Waka Medium Roast at the recommended 2 tsp serving contains approximately 55 mg, which is a little over half the caffeine of a typical brewed cup. Use more powder for a stronger cup.
