Autumn is here, and you know what that means: delicious seasonal coffee! There’s nothing like fall-themed recipes to warm you up and make your house smell amazing. Here are some of our favorite fall flavors and how you can make them at home.

Best Seasonal Coffee Recipes

Some of the best things about the fall season are the leaves changing colors, the transition into the holiday spirit, and of course, seasonal coffee flavors. After a long and hot summer, there is nothing like celebrating the changing season than by switching to warm and spiced drinks. Not only do they help you get into the holiday spirit, but they can make your space smell amazing. So let’s explore some seasonal coffee flavors you should try at home!

Pumpkin Spiced Latte

When thinking about autumn flavored drinks, you can’t forget about the popular pumpkin spiced latte! Even though it is a limited-time flavor, most people look forward to it whenever the summer season ends.

A pumpkin spiced latte combines the classic flavors of fall. This includes a blend of pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Depending on the coffee shop you go to, it can also have other spices such as ginger, cloves, and allspice. But not to worry, you can join in on the pumpkin spiced latte craze right from your home!

Pumpkin Spiced Latte Recipe

  • 2 tbsp of pumpkin purée
  • 1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • 2 tsp of Waka instant coffee + 1 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup of cold heavy cream
  1. Place the pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice, and black pepper in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until it’s hot for about 2 minutes.
  2. Add the brown sugar and stir until the mixture looks like a thick syrup.
  3. Whisk in the milk and vanilla, stirring often and watching carefully to make sure it doesn’t boil over.
  4. With a hand blender, mix until frothy and well blended.
  5. Make the instant coffee and divide into 2 mugs (mix 2 tsp of instant coffee with 1 cup of hot water).
  6. Add the pumpkin mixture in each mug on top of the coffee.
  7. Top with the whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon and the pumpkin spice. Enjoy!

Salted Caramel Latte

Another delicious seasonal coffee is the salted caramel latte. While it is a flavor you can get everyday, there is something very fall-themed and comforting to this drink. There is nothing like a salted caramel flavored coffee to start your morning off cozy. It is also great for people who enjoy an amazing mix of sweet and salty all in one! It includes caramel, a hint of saltiness, and can include some cocoa powder for a bit of chocolate flavor.
