Instant Coffee Mug Cake Recipe
Did you know that many coffee cake recipes are misleading and don't actually use any coffee? In most cases, they are often recipes for cakes that are meant to be eaten alongside a cup of coffee. In this recipe however, we will be using quality instant coffee to give our mug cake recipe the coffee flavor and caffeine that's often missing from coffee cakes.
- 1/2 tbsp of Waka instant coffee
- 1/4 tsp of baking powder
- 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp of brown sugar
- 3 tbsp of plain flour
- 3 tbsp of milk
- 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
- (optional) heavy cream or ice cream
- Add the dry ingredients to a clean microwavable mug and mix well.
- Add the oil and milk to the mug and mix well.
- Place into the microwave and cook for about a minute and a half.
- Top with heavy cream, ice cream, or just eat it by itself.
