Hot and Cold Instant Caramel Macchiato Recipes

Hot & Cold Caramel Macchiato Recipes:
Ingredients:
FOR THE CARAMEL SAUCE:
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt to taste
FOR THE INSTANT MACCHIATO:
- 1 cup hot/cold milk
- 2 tbsp Waka instant coffee
- 2 tbsp hot water
- 2 tbsp caramel sauce
MAKE THE CARAMEL SYRUP:
- Combine sugar and water in a small pan, over medium heat.
- Cook without stirring until the sugar is dissolved, then let it boil until the sauce is thick with a dark amber color.
- Remove pan from heat and immediately add in cream and butter.
- Whisk until full combined, then season with salt to taste. Set aside until ready to use.
ICED CARAMEL MACCHIATO:
- In a small cup, mix well 2 tbsp of instant coffee with 2 tbsp of hot water.
- In a serving glass, pour caramel sauce at the bottom and sides of the glass.
- Fill the cup with ice.
- Pour instant coffee mixture on top of the ice.
- Pour 1 cup of cold milk and gently mix.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce on top.
- Optional: top it off with whipped cream!
HOT CARAMEL MACCHIATO:
- In a small cup, mix well 2 tbsp of instant coffee with 2 tbsp of hot water.
- In a serving glass, pour caramel sauce at the bottom and sides of the glass.
- Pour 1 cup of hot milk and gently mix.
- Add milk foam on top.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce.
