Make this Mexican style instant coffee horchata to kick off your mornings with a little spice.
What is Horchata?
Horchata is a Mexican drink made of rice milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar. It’s a sweet and spicy drink that you can enjoy at a restaurant or in the comfort of your own home. There are dairy free versions of Horchata or other versions that contain real milk. Some options also contain nuts or added flavors like vanilla or coconut.
How to make instant iced horchata coffee
This is a different take on horchata. Rather than using rice milk, we use regular milk, but feel free to use rice milk or any other milk alternative of your choice. This recipe only takes 5 minutes to make, and requires little to no skills! Chances are, you probably already have most of these ingredients in your kitchen!
Ingredients (serves two people):

- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
- Honey or sugar
Blender, frother, or anything to thoroughly mix the ingredients.
