Make This Mocha Brownie Instant Coffee Freakshake
The Freakshake is already a wonder of a drink, but why not take it one step further with the addition of high quality instant coffee and the trending baked oats?
What is a Freakshake?
Freakshakes are extreme milkshakes loaded with all kinds of sweet treats, toppings, flavors, sauces, and more. They differ from regular milkshakes since they often have other desserts blended into them such as donuts, waffles, cakes, cookies, and more. In recent years, the drinks have taken over social media platforms because of their vibrant, exquisite appearances, and their over-the-top flavorings.
The Freakshake was first invented in Australia in 2015, in a cafe called Patissez cafe. From there, the extravagant drink soon became tremendously popular and spread all over the world. It became particularly popular in amusement parks as well as high-end cafes.
The two factors that make Freakshakes so unique are their appearance and their taste. The shakes are often decorated with layers of assorted desserts and sweets, many of which aren’t usually used in milkshakes. Along with this, their large size makes them instantly eye-catching.
Freakshakes also have a unique taste and texture because of the ingredients used in them. Since they can often contain baked goods, candy, or ice cream, they have a much heavier, richer, and denser texture than normal milkshakes.
While these drinks are enormously appealing, both visually and tastefully, their only downside is the health expense. Since a Freakshake is essentially a blend of multiple desserts in a liquid form, the resulting drinks are often extremely filling, and average 1500 calories per drink. However, this mocha brownie Freakshake takes a healthier turn, while retaining the unique appearance and taste of a Freakshake. It gets its flavor and texture from chocolate, bananas, and baked oats.
