If you’re anything like us, you tend to turn to Google when you’re looking for new ways to spice up your daily routine. Tips, tutorials, and tricks can be real life savers but the internet is full of so many, it gets hard to navigate them all. We found two instant coffee hacks that will make your cup of instant joe even better.
The Hot Coffee Concentrate Hack
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of Waka Coffee
- 1 to 2 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 cup of hot water
- Additional sweetener or cream
Steps:
- Add your packet of instant coffee to your mug.
- Add your teaspoon (or two) of sugar to your coffee granules.
- Add a teaspoon’s worth of hot water to your mug and mix until all the granules have dissolved into the water. This creates a sort of coffee concentrate, which in turn, enhances the coffee’s natural crema (which you’ll see, once you’ve added the rest of your hot water to your cup).
- Pour the rest of your hot water into your concentrate and stir the mixture until everything is properly dissolved.
- Add any extra milk, syrups, or creams to finish up your perfect home brewed beverage.
The Instant Iced Coffee Pour Over Hack
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of Waka Coffee
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, honey, or agave
- ½ cup of ice
- Additional milks or creams
Steps:
- To start, heat up about ⅓ cup of water in a mug.
- Next, add your coffee granules to the hot water in your mug and stir until they have completely dissolved.
- Next, grab a cold cup and add your ideal amount of ice. We recommend about half a cup to balance your coffee to ice ratio but, the end result is entirely up to you!
- Pour your syrup or sweetener of choice over your ice. We recommend something thick like maple, honey, and/or agave to give your beverage a thick and creamy consistency.
- Now, it’s time to add your hot coffee concoction to your sweetened ice mixture. Pour the hot coffee over the top. Make sure if you’re opting for adding milk or cream to your beverage, to leave a bit of space at the top of your cup.
- Add any milk or milk alternatives and stir your beverage as needed for optimal enjoyment!
