Waka Medium Roast Single-Serve Premium Instant Coffee is freeze-dried coffee made from 100% single-origin Colombian Arabica beans, in a box of 8 pre-measured packets. Each packet contains approximately 60 mg of caffeine and makes an 8 to 10 fl oz cup. It is a clean-label coffee: no added sugar or sweeteners, no fillers, and no artificial flavors or colors. Because each packet is sealed and needs only water, it travels well for camping, flights, hotel rooms, and office desks.

How much caffeine is in one packet?
Approximately 60 mg, compared with roughly 95 mg in a standard 8 fl oz cup of drip coffee. The bulk pouch measured at 2 teaspoons gives about 55 mg.
Should I buy packets or a bulk pouch?
Packets are pre-measured and sealed, which makes them better for travel, offices, and anywhere you cannot measure. Bulk pouches cost less per cup and let you adjust strength.
Can you take instant coffee packets through airport security?
Yes. Instant coffee is a dry powder and is permitted in carry-on luggage.
How do you make iced coffee from a packet?
Dissolve the packet in a small amount of hot water first, then top with cold water, milk, or ice. A handheld frother also works for mixing directly into cold liquid.

Waka instant coffee contains between 3 mg and 80 mg of caffeine per serving, depending on the roast. Exact amounts by product:
- Medium roast: approximately 55 mg per 2 tsp (about 2.5 grams), or approximately 60 mg per single-serve packet (about 2 grams).
- Dark roast: approximately 75 mg per 2 tsp (about 2.5 grams), or approximately 80 mg per single-serve packet (about 2.8 grams).
- Instant espresso (medium-dark roast): approximately 45 mg per 1 tsp serving. One 3.5 oz pouch makes up to 50 espresso shots.
- Butterscotch Vanilla flavored: approximately 50 mg per 2 tsp (about 2.5 grams).

How does Waka compare to brewed coffee?
A standard 8 fl oz cup of drip coffee contains roughly 95 mg of caffeine. Waka Medium Roast at the recommended 2 tsp serving contains approximately 55 mg, which is a little over half the caffeine of a typical brewed cup. Use more powder for a stronger cup.

Amazing Coffee! Travels well☕️
In our ministry travels, we stay in ministers homes. They don’t always offer me a cup of coffee. Then I found WAKA and all is well. All I need is hot water and a packet of medium roast Waka coffee. It tastes freshly brewed even though it’s instant. Thank you WAKA☕️
