Honey Coffee Recipe Using Instant Coffee

If you have a sweet tooth, there’s nothing that you want more than to add a teaspoon or two of sugar into your cup of joe. But what if you want to switch things up a little?
What if there was a way you could still have that sweet taste, with a little more character? Try using honey in your coffee instead of sugar.
Just a small amount in your coffee will give you that sweet taste that you crave. Honey is still a sugar, so a little goes a long way. Add honey to your favorite coffee drinks, but keep in mind not to add too much -- you don’t want it to overpower your coffee.
WHAT IS HONEY COFFEE?
As simple as it sounds, honey coffee is the addition of honey into your brewed cup of coffee instead of regular sugar. Honey coffee gives you that same sweet taste that sugar does, with a flavor of its own. In fact, to some the honey might even taste better than the sugar!
Why try honey in your coffee?
Honey brings its own flavor to coffee. Depending on the honey you use, it can taste floral, fruity or caramel-like, which makes it a fun way to change up your usual cup of instant coffee.
Like sugar, honey contains sugar and calories, so it is best used in moderation. We like our coffee black and without sweeteners at all, so we could taste the quality of the instant coffee. If you must add some sweetness to your coffee, try using some honey instead of sugar.
HONEY COFFEE RECIPE USING INSTANT COFFEE
Ingredients:
- A packet or 2 tsp of Waka Instant Coffee
- ¼ cup honey
- Milk or milk substitute
- Cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla can be added for additional taste
Instructions:
- Brew a cup of Waka Coffee (instructions on bags or boxes)
- Stir in the honey as you would for sugar
- Add in milk
- Other spices are optional and can be stirred in with the milk
- Can make either hot or cold coffee
