Freeze drying is a process by which water is removed from the coffee extract to produce instant coffee without sacrificing its unique flavor and aroma. First, the coffee extract is frozen at about -50° C, which preserves the coffee’s aroma and depth of flavor. Then, it placed under a vacuum where the frozen liquid sublimates. Sublimation is the process of when the ice immediately changes to steam, without defrosting first. On the contrary, the Spray drying method uses hot air to evaporate the water from the beans, which destroys the original flavor and eliminate the coffee’s aroma.

Pour a packet of Waka Coffee into a mug, bottle, or traveler mug. Add 8 fl oz. of hot or cold water, stir, and enjoy! If you make cold coffee, we recommend adding a little bit of hot water first to dissolve the coffee faster.
We use USPS as our default carrier. Your product usually ships in one business day and will be delivered 4 to 5 business days later if you choose Standard Shipping. We do not ship our product on national holidays.
Unfortunately, we currently can’t supply free samples. We do, however, run giveaways and promotions from time to time. Join our mailing list and follow us on Instagram to stay up to date on our current offers.

Our instant coffee packets are made of foil-lined natural kraft paper, and our boxes are also made of kraft paper. Compared to the plastic or glass jars in which instant coffee is typically sold, our product is more eco-friendly. You can recycle our box and most mailers, and our lightweight packaging requires less energy to transport, which cuts down on carbon emissions.
